Skate Report Wed 28 September 2005

Tonight was meant to be mission night but the weather put an end to that. Sean tried to talk us into a train ride to start the night but the light drizzle as we were at the steps to the station made us stick a little closer to the city.
The weather held off enough for us to venture a bit further. With a visitor from out of town Will thought we should go for a scenic run across the Harbour Bridge and what a decision that was.
After we skated Luna Park hill and back up to North Sydney we then came back to Milsons point along Lavender St where we looked at a couple of back lanes. Well, they were pretty dark but Glen St & Paul St (I think it was) were real gems, very steep & sketchy.

Thanks to everyone for a great skate.

There are only 2 Photos for this skate and both are linked to this report and are in the images section

Remember I promise to put up some photos for anyone who writes a skate report.

Keep Skating

Are you READY??

Get Ready for the
5th Annual
Biggest City Skate EVER !

Wednesday 2nd Nov 2005 is the date to put into your diaries to get your dancing skates out and get your friends revved up ready to go. Don't forget to make sure all your gear is working before the night.

Lets see if we can get a bigger turn out than last year (135 or so skaters). Maybe we can get over 200 this year. We should be able to do that if everyone brings along a couple of friends.

To all of you who used to come into the City regularly for a City Skate now is the time to check your gear and come along to say hello to your skating mates. We would really love to see you there.

As with all Virgin Nights if it rains the Biggest City Skate - EVER! will be postponed until the next fine Wed.

Friday Night Sydney Skate

Don't forget Friday Nights "Friday Night Sydney Skate" it is held every Friday Night.
Meet at Circular Quay near the Manly Ferry exit. Meet at 8:00pm and skate until 10:00pm.

This skate is a social skate and entry level to the usual Sydney Bladers Virgin Skate so if you are unsure how well you can skate, or stop, this will be the skate to go & practice before you venture out on a Sydney Bladers City Skate.

Web site Design and Data based Features by IT3.com.au

Sydney Bladers is not run by any one, no one owns it, no one is responsible for it, this web site is designed to help this sorry bunch of bladers who meet up every Wednesday night for a great time, no meeting times are planed by anyone, it is just a freak coincidence that up to 70 people meet up at the same place and time every Wednesday night and head off on the same direction some where around the city for 2 hours.

The web designer of this site (me) is not responsible if you do something stupid because of this web site, if you do I will plead insanity, I have many people on the city skate that will hold proof to this in court if need be. You read this information at your own risk, if you do something stupid then you are an idiot and don't come crying to me about it. If you take this disclaimer too seriously or think its stupid then you have no scene of humor and are probably a very boring person.
