Greetings fellow rollers!

Well after missing quite a few Wednesday night cityskates due to my addiction for the aggressive side of the sport I finally made it back for a Sydneybladers cityskate!!!

Memorable moments...

- Catching up with lots of familiar faces and a few of my past rollerblading students.
- Catching up with Salomon Sports Canadian goddess and fellow IISA instructor Chantale.
- Johhny 'be good' Meyer making sure our presence was well known by the time we rolled past the casino with singing and an attempted knee-pad-slide-cum-skatebuckle-debacle in new Salomon skates...
- Shannon Johnston's wall-of-water challenge (jumping through the fountain) and then an all-involved sureal rollerdisco fog skating display.... to Bill Vertucci's well-timed skate bearings discount offer.

This was all preceeded by some awesome downhill speed runs in a 7 level carpark in Redfern (see video clip).

Skate ran roughly from City -> Taylor Square -> Doncaster Ave Randwick -> rainy retreat back towards city via Cleveland Street - Redfern carpark -> behind UTS -> thru Ultimo -> Casino -> Cargo Bar finale.

See you next time!
<>BR yours in rollerblading,

Friday Night Sydney Skate

Don't forget Friday Nights "Friday Night Sydney Skate" it is held every Friday Night.
Meet at Circular Quay near the Manly Ferry exit. Meet at 8:00pm and skate until 10:00pm.

This skate is a social skate and entry level to the usual Sydney Bladers Virgin Skate so if you are unsure how well you can skate, or stop, this will be the skate to go & practice before you venture out on a Sydney Bladers City Skate.

Web site Design and Data based Features by

Sydney Bladers is not run by any one, no one owns it, no one is responsible for it, this web site is designed to help this sorry bunch of bladers who meet up every Wednesday night for a great time, no meeting times are planed by anyone, it is just a freak coincidence that up to 70 people meet up at the same place and time every Wednesday night and head off on the same direction some where around the city for 2 hours.

The web designer of this site (me) is not responsible if you do something stupid because of this web site, if you do I will plead insanity, I have many people on the city skate that will hold proof to this in court if need be. You read this information at your own risk, if you do something stupid then you are an idiot and don't come crying to me about it. If you take this disclaimer too seriously or think its stupid then you have no scene of humor and are probably a very boring person.
