Skate report for Friday 20th June 2003 I arrived at Circular Quay early tonight, around 7:45. In the past weeks the skate has started early and I’ve had to catch up. Not Happy Jan. I didn’t want to have to catch up again.

Lisa was the only other person there. So we sat for a while and chatted until more people joined us.
Little Kye was giving everyone races to past the time while we all waited for one of our leaders to show up.
It was around 8:20 when I started to get worried. Bill, Phil or Dave hadn’t shown up yet. So I gave Phil and Dave a call. There weren’t coming. Neither was Bill. So it was up to me. For my first time ever I lead the skate. I had lots of help from Kye’s mum, Anne Marie and others and my back up man was Wayne, keeping his eye on the end of the line. Thanks dude.

We had lots of fun. We stuck to our normal Friday route. The only bad thing was, we kept running into wet patches all night. Those damn street cleaners were out to get us. It seemed like every where we went, they went too.

We started off with 17 people on skate tonight. Then Ben and little Luke joined us on the old Pyrmont Bridge. Thanks for joining us Ben. It was great to see you and have your help.

Anyway, the skate went great. We had lots of new faces. Good to see you all out there. We all kept a good steady pace up too. I hope I didn’t go too fast for you all. lol

Good skate everyone.
I won’t be there Friday 27th. I have to go to Brisbane for my Spot Show.
I’ll see you all the following week.

Have a good one.

Friday Night Sydney Skate
Don't forget Friday Nights "Friday Night Sydney Skate" it is held every Friday Night.

Web site Design and Data based Features by IT3.com.au

Sydney Bladers is not run by any one, no one owns it, no one is responsible for it, this web site is designed to help this sorry bunch of bladers who meet up every Wednesday night for a great time, no meeting times are planed by anyone, it is just a freak coincidence that up to 70 people meet up at the same place and time every Wednesday night and head off on the same direction some where around the city for 2 hours.

The web designer of this site (me) is not responsible if you do something stupid because of this web site, if you do I will plead insanity, I have many people on the city skate that will hold proof to this in court if need be. You read this information at your own risk, if you do something stupid then you are an idiot and don't come crying to me about it. If you take this disclaimer too seriously or think its stupid then you have no scene of humor and are probably a very boring person.
