Skate report for Sep 4th. The best social skate in a long time. For me that is. Skate report for Sep 4th.

Oh my. How many people did we get? It was HUGE and so much fun.

Well I just have to say I had the best time. It was great to see Dave back. YEAH!!!!! Are you going to stay now Dave? There were also so many friends I haven't seen in donkies years. Great to see you all out there. I missed you all so much. As you can tell, being social during skate is a big deal to me. I love a good chat. :)

Anyway, the skate went well. We headed down to Lady Macquarie’s Chair where the new guys took to the practice track and the rest of us took a spin around the speed way. This is where my gorgeous Ryan took his first spill of the night with his mate Mat. Oh what a dooosie. Nice one boys. Then off to Hide Park where we went around and around and around, well, you know what I’m talking about. Then when we hit the second side of the park we did the back and forth, back and forth thing for a while. This is where Ryan took his second spill. This time with his other good Mate Damien. What are you trying to do to your best friends Ryan? This stack was a hard one. So hard that he though he should go home. But I made him stay a little longer. We headed of in to the main streets of the city where we did our thing for a while. This whole time I haven’t stoped talking. :) We maid our way over to Martin place where we took some snap shots. At this point Ryan was in agony, so we though, ok next stop we will leave. We made it to Wynyard Station. This is where we bit you all farewell.

We had a blast guys. Hope the rest of the skate was great. We will see you all next week. This time we will hang around for the beer at the end of the night.

Biggest City Skate EVER !
After last years fantastic success for the 10th Anniversary skate where we got nearly 100 skaters on our Virgin Night we are going to do it again on the first Wed in November (6th Nov).
As with all Virgin Nights if it rains the skate will be postponed until the next dry Wed. So get your friends practising their skating & braking and bring them along. All you not so regular regulars get your skates out of the back of the cupboard, unsieze those bearings and come and join us. Lets see if we can get over 200 this year. It should be a cinch if we can get 75 for a normal Virgin Skate.

Web site Design and Data based Features by

Sydney Bladers is not run by any one, no one owns it, no one is responsible for it, this web site is designed to help this sorry bunch of bladers who meet up every Wednesday night for a great time, no meeting times are planed by anyone, it is just a freak coincidence that up to 70 people meet up at the same place and time every Wednesday night and head off on the same direction some where around the city for 2 hours.

The web designer of this site (me) is not responsible if you do something stupid because of this web site, if you do I will plead insanity, I have many people on the city skate that will hold proof to this in court if need be. You read this information at your own risk, if you do something stupid then you are an idiot and don't come crying to me about it. If you take this disclaimer too seriously or think its stupid then you have no scene of humor and are probably a very boring person.
